You’ve heard of the mug cake, right?  But, have you ever heard of a guilt-free chocolate mug cake?  Well let me share with you my all-time favorite little sweet obsession? If you do it my way, you can have it whenever your little heart desires. Don’t tell anybody, but I enjoyed this several nights in a row not too long ago.  However, that’s ok!  I created this recipe not only to be guilt-free, but to have benefits.

How To Make This Chocolate Mug Cake

  • In a coffee mug, mix together wet ingredients...egg, coconut oil, vanilla, and almond milk.
  • Next, add almond flour, cacao powder, Stevia, baking powder, and sea salt. Stir all ingredients until fully mixed together.
  • Microwave for 1 minute, or until risen.
  • Top with Stevia sweetened chocolate chips and Stevia sweetened coconut milk ice cream...a must! For chocolate sauce, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together and drizzle over ice cream.

I give this cake a little health boost by adding in my favorite collagen protein powder which has sooooo many benefits, why would you want to skip it…beautiful skin, promotes gut health as well as aiding in weight loss, just to name a few.  All I can say is this dessert is so crazy good it doesn’t seem right. I really feel like I’m doing something wrong!

The best part of enjoying this special treat, I don’t have to worry about any weight gain or inflammation in my body.  It really is a win-win situation.  Eating dessert and keeping your figure...it’s crazy, right?

A Few Chocolate Chip Options

Here are a few chocolate chip choices I've listed below. These three brands are all dairy & sugar free.  Of course, the Luv brand is 80% cocoa which will have a slightly different taste than the other two.
