When it comes to gifts, we are all about experiences and investments. These are all products we love and use ourselves and I’ve included our very own personal description with each one.

I researched high and low for a good quality straightener and I am so very happy with this one. It has been wonderful and it's so great not having to worry about her burning herself with a traditional straightening iron. I highly recommend this for young girls that are just at the beginning stages of doing their own hair. I mean, this is great for anyone actually. My daughter loves to straighten my hair with it as well. It really is a high quality straightener that gets the job done. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I wish I would have had it for my oldest daughter when she was younger. I promise, it will make your life so much easier, especially mommies with little girls.
5. LANGE (Curling Wand) - I finally listened to my daughter and tried out her styling wand. I was blown away and so happy with the results. Since using the wand, I now have the look I want as well as saving myself so much time. I stumbled across my absolute favorite styling wand last year…and I must say, it’s the prettiest one I’ve ever seen!
6. HAND LETTERING GOD'S WORD (by Jenny Highsmith) - My teenage daughter told me she would love to have this faith inspired hand lettering book. And of course, I certainly wanted her to have it. Not only is she learning calligraphy, but think of all the encouraging scripture that is poured into her while learning the art.  Each letter is accompanied by a Scripture verse and devotional for practicing your lettering and meditating on God’s Word.  For those who want to learn how to hand letter and can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a class, this book will teach you all the basic strokes, the letters of the alphabet, style/composition and so much more on your lettering journey.
7. YETI RAMBLER (Hot/Cold) - The BEST way to keep your drink hot or cold.  Need I say more…ok, prettiest way to keep your drink hot or cold. They come in so many colors.  I LOVE this pink one.   I don’t have to worry about my coffee getting cold anymore.

Gifts For Him

Here are a few unique gifts that I have given my husband that he is still enjoying today...and I've added a few items that he would love to have someday!

1. MUCK BOOTS (Chore Classic Steel Toe Work Boots) - For the hard working man in your life, these are the perfect boots. Whether working outside or for the serious hunter, these are hard to beat.  I wanted to give my husband a special birthday gift this past year, and oh how he needed a pair of new boots. It’s safe to say, he was very happy and impressed with his gift.
2. WEED KILLER PROPANE TORCH - My husband has thoroughly enjoyed this propane torch. Everything from destroying fire ant mounds to killing weeds, it’s a fun solution...not to mention most natural, especially when you have chickens walking around and food growing on your property.  
3. DELONGHI ESPRESSO MAKER - Several years back my husband bought me a cappuccino/espresso maker.  Let me tell you, it has been a wonderful investment for sure. We have saved so much by making our own coffee. Recently, I blogged about our coffee bar we put together. I meet my husband there every morning. 4. KEURIG MINI (Travel Coffee Maker) - When it comes to traveling, I’m sure not a fan of hotel coffee makers. I’m the wife/mom who thoroughly cleans the entire hotel room before my family can enter…and I sure don’t trust the coffee machine to be clean. That is where the travel size Keurig saves the day. It’s the perfect solution. We take it on all of our trips.
5. LUGGAGE 3-PIECE SET - Recently my husband and I decided it was time for a luggage upgrade. It had been years since we purchased a good set of luggage and with all the traveling we do, it was definitely time. The challenging part was just finding the time to shop and research for a reasonable set. I thought for sure, we could go to some of the department stores around and find really nice luggage at a good price and hopefully on sale. Well, we shopped at several stores and the few that we found were $400-$600 dollars, and that was just for ONE suitcase. We couldn't believe how expensive luggage is now. I went home and began researching for days. When I make a purchase, no matter what it is, I research and research and research before I make my decision. So after much looking online, I found a luggage set that was exactly what we were looking for. Can you believe that the whole set cost a 1/4 of what the one department store suitcase cost? So, I took a chance and purchased this beautiful gray luggage set hoping it was high quality made. Well, it exceeded our expectations. It is perfect and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We have taken it on several of our ministry trips this year and our family vacation. It was exactly what we needed. I've seen this luggage set at many other stores, but over $100.00 more. This is the BEST deal for sure!
6. WELLS LAMONT MENS WORK GLOVES, TAN, LARGE PACK OF 1 - These are a must for my husband...he's always working outside usually chopping firewood.
7. STAINLESS STEEL MANICURE/PEDICURE MENS GROOMING KIT LUXERY BROWN TRAVEL CASE - I purchased my husband a really nice grooming kit when we first got married... he still has it to this day. He uses it often and has been one of the best gifts I have ever gotten him.

16. 23 PIECE MEN’S GROOMING KIT - Every man needs one of these. When I worked at a salon, this was one of my most used tools. These are so great to have at home in between hair cuts especially around the ears.

18. PADDY WAX CANDLE, WORN LEATHER & SMOKE - My husband's favorite candle. He found this company several years ago in our local Whole Foods Market. The company is based out of Nashville and we recently visited and purchased another candle for his music studio called "Tobacco & Pachouli." It was a neat experience to get to purchase one from the store, but they are less expensive online for sure.
19. NKJV, PERSONAL REFERENCE BIBLE - My husband has several leather Bibles, I love this one.
20. THURSDAY BOOT COMPANY CAPTAIN MEN’S LACE-UP BOOT - These are on my husband's wishlist! He just came across these recently. We like brands that are not mainstream. In other words, if everybody's doing it, we run the other way!

22. MENS LEATHER WATERPROOF MESSENGER BAG - These bags are great used as a briefcase or for carrying your computer. We actually purchased one several years back for my husband's music video. It was part of his look in the video.
23. KENNETH COLE MEN’S JAPANESE QUARTZ STAINLESS STEEL WATCH - I like this men's watch that is very nice and not too expensive like most!
24. HANGING LEATHER TOILETRY BAG FOR MEN & WOMEN - We carry our toiletry bags with us as we travel...this one looks very nice!

Gifts For The Kids

I've included a few favorites that our daughters have loved over the years, along with a few gift ideas for the boys too.

1. KIDKRAFT MAJESTIC MANSION DOLLHOUSE - My youngest daughter decided she was going to build herself a Barbie house a couple of years back. Well, in the meantime, she stumbled across one almost identical to the one she envisioned and drew out on paper. It made sense financially and time wise to go with this one for her birthday. I’ve never seen a more perfect Barbie house, especially the size. I’m not a fan of the wimpy small expensive ones that you see the child growing out of after 4-5 years old. My daughter absolutely loved her Barbie house growing up. I’m so happy we got this when we did and created so many memories together!
2. KIDKRAFT LARGE PLAY KITCHEN (w/ Lights & Sounds) - A couple of Christmas' ago, my youngest wanted a play kitchen to be able to play cook along with me.  Just like the Barbie House I mentioned above, I didn’t want a wimpy expensive one.  This play kitchen met all of our expectations.  It is so beautiful and we even left it in the kitchen for awhile for my daughter to cook along with mommy.  We have lots of memories together that I will never forget.
3. LINCOLN LOGS Collector's Edition Village 327 Real-Wood Pieces - Every child needs to experience Lincoln Logs. These have been a fun activity for the whole family. Lots of memories made for sure.  Hours and hours of play!
4. CANON CAMERAS US POINT AND SHOOT DIGITAL CAMERA - If your kids are a little older like mine, they may just be interested in a vlogging camera. My youngest daughter has been begging for a YOUTUBE CHANNEL for several years and saved up her own money to purchase this particular camera. All of her clips of the videos that are filmed with this camera. A good camera is a must!
5. CANON POWERSHOT DIGITAL CAMERA [G7 X Mark II]  - My oldest daughter recently purchased this particular camera. This camera is what you see a lot of the YouTubers using these days. Both of these cameras are top notch professional, but this one is definitely at the top of the list.

I have so many memories watching them watch these shows together. There's not too many shows like this one that is entertaining, wholesome & inspiring. In fact, my girls and I have started watching these again in the evenings before bedtime...priceless memories!

Gifts For The Chef

I love being in the kitchen creating all of my favorite dishes. Here are a few of my top picks for the chef in your life.

1. INSTANT POT - If you want to make your cooking experience quicker and easier, get you an Instant Pot. You can have dinner on the table in half the time. We actually have two and have given several out as gifts.  I use both of ours very often.
2. KITCHENAID (Food Processor) - The ultimate multipurpose kitchen tool that is a must for every kitchen. From puréeing sauces and dips, to grinding nuts, making pizza dough and pie crusts, the possibilities are endless with a food processor. It’s been one of the most used appliances in my kitchen for sure.
3. KITCHENAID (Mixer) - Last year for Christmas my husband surprised me with a Kitchenaid mixer. He knew I had been wanting one of these for months...a white one to be exact. I absolutely love it! It is a must for making perfect icing every time. My daughters and I enjoyed it so much last Christmas and beyond. It’s so beautiful as a decoration sitting on my kitchen counter, I leave it out all year long.
4. STAINLESS STEEL MEASURING CUPS/SPOONS - If you like to cook, especially bake, these measuring tools are a must to have around.  I recently bought a couple of sets because mine were usually in the dishwasher when I needed them most.  
5. LODGE CAST IRON - The best cookware in my opinion is cast iron. I can promise you this, you will have better tasting food for sure...and the best part, you don’t have to worry about chemical leaching from the pan like you do with nonstick skillets.  Lodge is the only brand of cast iron that I trust and allow into my home.  For one, it’s made in the USA and there is no competition when it comes to the craftsmanship.
6. CUISINART (Ice Cream Maker) - One of my favorite desserts to make for my family is homemade ice cream. I whip up our favorite recipes in no time. I love it that I can control the ingredients and even make it dairy-free. An ice cream maker is definitely a fun activity to do with the kids.
7. 8 PIECE GOLD MEASURING CUPS SET AND MEASURING SPOONS - I think these measuring cups and spoons are so pretty...they are on my Christmas wishlist this year.
8. 5.5-QUART ENAMELED CAST IRON DUTCH OVEN WITH LID - There's nothing like cooking a good soup in a dutch oven, especially this beautiful white one with a gold knob.
9. RORENCE STEEL COLANDER SET OF 2 - WHITE - I use a colander almost every day and I love this white set.
10. STOVETOP POUR-OVER COFFEE AND TEA KETTLE - My husband makes me coffee every morning and he uses the pour over method. This tea kettle is perfect for it and I love the white too!
11. 14 PIECE SILICONE UTENSIL SET - I love this neutral utensil set.
12. DRINKING GLASSES WITH BAMBOO LIDS & GLASS STRAWS 4 PIECE - My girls and I have enjoyed these glasses so much this year making lots of iced coffees and memories!

A Few Of Our Favorite Things For The Home

Here are some great additions for the home. We've been in organization and decorating mode this past year and these items are what we have added lately.

1. WILLIFORD WOOL AREA RUG - I love my new rug that I recently purchased for my living room. It tied everything together. There are so many great rugs to choose from...it was a really hard decision.
2. NEARLY NATURAL 82” OLIVE TREE - My absolute favorite tree for my home is the olive tree. I saved up and finally purchased one for our home a couple of years ago and it looks absolutely beautiful. In fact, there was an issue with my order, so I was blessed with not only one, but two. Now I actually have three! One in each room. This tree adds so much to the rooms where I have them sitting.
3. 5' FIDDLE LEAF TREE (Artificial) The Fiddle Leaf Tree is another one of my favorite trees for the home.  I love the way this looks sitting in our living room.  It gives any room a cozy feel and adds an extra special touch.  My girls and I actually purchased a real fiddle leaf tree before this one and what they say is really true, (it’s very hard to keep the leaves from browning).  Keep in mind, my girls are the ULTIMATE plant care takers, so I knew it was gonna be challenging taking on a real fiddle leaf tree.  The only solution was an artificial one. This fiddle leaf tree is just as beautiful and the best part, maintenance free.  I bought a natural woven basket to sit it in and it complements any corner of a room.
4. ADJUSTABLE DROP PENDANT FLOOR LAMP - I love this lamp that I purchased a couple of years ago to go behind our couch, slightly hanging over the back. It matches our modern farmhouse look, but would be beautiful no matter what style you are going for. It is very classy and would look great in any home.
5. 4-DRAWER WRITING DESK, RUSTIC OAK - A few years back, I finally found an office desk and I absolutely love it! I spend a lot of my time at this desk and it helps keep me organized. It is such a beautiful piece as well.
6. HAVALANCE FARMHOUSE LIFT TOP COFFEE TABLE - My coffee table adds so much to our living room. I searched several years before I found the perfect one for our modern farmhouse look.
7. DISTRESSED RUSTIC FARMHOUSE WOOD FRAME ACCENT MIRROR - My mirrors add so much to my rooms and make a room look bigger.
8. NATURAL WOVEN HYACINTH STORAGE BASKETS - I am all about organization, especially in my home and office. It's so very important for being productive and successful.  This past few years I've been working on our whole house being organized. 10. EUCALYPTUS ARTIFICIAL POTTED PLANTS - We LOVE these eucalyptus potted plants.  It’s amazing how much they add to a room or space.  I have them sitting in my kitchen, in my office and on our coffee bar station.
11. ORGANIC PLANT THERAPY ESSENTIAL OIL SET - This is my favorite organic essential oil set for cleaning and making my house smell so fresh and clean. Just add a few drops to a cup of baking soda and sprinkle on your carpet, rugs and upholstery before vacuuming.
